Asian New Year is also know as Chinese New Year, Lunar New Year, or Spring Festival. It traditionally begins on the first day of the month of the Chinese calendar.
This celebration includes festivals, gift giving, feasting, decorating, and the wearing of festive clothing. Wealth, longevity, forgivness, happiness and peace are among the well wishes expressed during the festival, which continues for 15 days.
