Chinoiserie Pagoda Ornament

The word "Chinoiserie" refers to a rendering of Chinese symbols and styles in European art, furniture, and other décor, popular in the 18th century.  The Chinoiserie Pagoda ornaments are based on "Condé-sur-l'Escault," a pagoda built in 1775 and designed by Prince de Croy. Ornament height: 4 1/4 inches.
