more than 90 countries, making it one of the most popular and
universally loved forms of recreation on the planet.
Although
some critics put the birth of bowling much later, ancient artifacts used
for a primitive form of the game have been dated back to 3200 BC.
Whether hundreds or thousands of years old, this popular pastime has
evolved through the centuries to settle into the modern lanes we all
know and love today.
When asked why a customer was buying four matching bowling shirt
ornaments, he replied, "Each person on my bowling team, including me, is
going to get a bowling shirt ornament for Christmas!"
